A darkened view from the doorway.
Our ready-to-go changing table.
The crib is baby ready and the hamper is awaiting all those dirty clothes!
The lovely decal, along with bumbo seats from Doug & Bree.We finally can say that our nursery is D-O-N-E. Much of the credit goes to Matt, who so delicately painted, assembled, and crafted what it has turned out to be. I just LOVE it. I guess the only thing left to do is add the curtains and a little bit of shelving, but we will still call it baby-ready.
We got the bedding from Land of Nod, the cribs were a generous gift from his parents, and the changing table we purchased at good ole' Good's Furniture in Kewanee. It all came together so nicely. The tree and birds is actually a decal, not a painting. I can't say either one of us has the patience right now to hand paint images in the girls' room. Matt has the talent, however.
We are considering a rocker, but as you may tell from the pictures we are a little crammed on room with the fact of having two cribs instead of one. A rocker sure would be great for all those feedings though!
Before too long, we will have two peaceful, sleeping babies in each crib. How EXCITING!
